The CSIA Certification Process The CSIA Certified Member program was developed to simplify what is becoming a daunting task of identifying, interviewing, qualifying, evaluating, selecting, and managing control and information system integration firms. This program, unique to firms who work with industrial systems, provides an industry-specific means to identify the areas of importance and minimize the uncertainties. To become certified, firms must be in compliance with the CSIA’s Best Practices and Benchmarks, a series of documents that define requirements for the express purpose of raising the image of the industry through a quality management system, and pass a third-party audit.
