Welcome to Eddy Currents

PrintEmail

Eddy Currents are those swirling little vortices seen when dragging an oar breadth wise through the water. Electrical eddy currents, like all electrical currents, generate heat as well as electromagnetic forces. The heat can be harnessed for induction heating. The electromagnetic forces can be used for levitation, crating movement, or to give a strong braking effect. Like a collection of eddy currents, our newsletter is designed to share those little bits and pieces of knowledge that form as we learn, grow and prosper.
